- Started intercollegiate athletic program for women at Brandeis
and was a pioneer in starting women's intercollegiate athletics in
the Boston area.
- Coached the 1957 Women's basketball team to an undefeated
record, a first at Brandeis in any sport.
- First women's coach of a men's varsity college team in the
country, the Men's Swimming and Diving team.
- Inducted into Brandeis Hall of Fame, October 16, 1998
