• Member of women's track and cross country teams between 1977-81
• Competing in the heptathlon, earned All-GBL, All-New England and All-East honors as a junior and senior
• In 1981, became the first woman from Brandeis to qualify for NCAA track championships
• Earned Max I. Silber Award as outstanding female athlete as a freshman
