Judges fans, next week (April 7-14) the NCAA is featuring its second annual DIII Week, and Brandeis is proud to be participating.
Every Brandeis team has at least one home game during the week, so we hope you will come out and support the Judges. Here’s the schedule:
Sunday, April 7: Women’s Tennis, Nor’Easter Bowl (opponent TBD), 9:00 a.m.
Sunday, April 7: Softball vs. Lasell, 12:00 noon doubleheader
Monday, April 8: Men’s Tennis vs. Bentley, 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 9: Baseball vs. Worcester State, 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 10: Women’s Tennis vs. Wellesley, 3:00 p.m.
Friday, April 12: Men’s Tennis vs. Clark, 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 13: Women’s Tennis vs. MIT, 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, April 13: Baseball vs. WPI, 12:00 noon doubleheader
In addition to all the varsity action, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Student Events and Relay For Life are holding two fundraising events. On Tuesday, April 11, from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Gosman Athletic Center, the Mr. Brandeis Pageant will take place. 21 of Brandeis's finest men will compete for the title of Mr. Brandeis! The competition will consist of 5 categories: Formalwear, Questions, Interview, Group Choreographed Opening Number, and Swimwear. Among the guests who will be judging the Judges is Amanda Kelly ’09, a former Miss Massachusetts! The Pageant will be followed by a date auction with all of the contestants! All proceeds from the Mr. Brandeis Pageant admission fee and donations will go to Brandeis Relay for Life. The event will take place during Paint the Campus Purple Week on Thursday, April 11th from 7-10pm in the Gosman Athletic Center Field House! You won't want to miss this! Then, on Saturday, April 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., come join Student Events and SAAC for the Run The Campus Blue 5k race. At 12:30, the race will start, transitioning into a BBQ on the Great Lawn. Wear your BLUE Brandeis gear to show your school spirit! Run the Campus Blue 5K is part of Student Events' Camp Bronstein Week and SAAC's D3 week celebrating Division 3 student-athletes’ success in the classroom, on the field, and in community service. Check in for run starts at 12:30 and running will begin at 1:00! When you are done running the 5K or even if you cannot make the race join SE and SAAC out on the Great Lawn for the 3rd Ever Sausage Fest!
