Ryan Healy drove in a run and had a key outfield assist as the Judges took four of five from the Violets this season.

Baseball spoils NYU home opener with DH sweep
Sam Miller hurled the Judges to a 4-2 win in the opener, while Tom McCarthy and Greg Heineman hit back-to-back homers in the second game. The wins were #697 and 698 in coach Pete Varney's 34-year career.

Simms pushes #28 WTennis past Bates, 5-4
Rookie Danielle Simms earned a marathon three-set win at No. 6 to help the Judges edge the Bobcats.

Brandeis archery hosts 3rd Annual Shamrock Shoot
Brandeis University’s fast-growing Archery Club/Team is hosting its’ third annual tournament on the campus this Sunday, March 22nd. The student-run “Shamrock Shoot” is expected to draw world class as well as national level competitors which will help the team purchase equipment and fund travel to various local and national competitions.

After leading the Judges in scoring and turning in their two highest-scoring games of the season, Jordan Cooper became the program's second UAA and first Regional Rookie of the Year.

Hannah Cain will play one last college game, participating in the New England Women's Basketball Association senior contest on March 28 at Smith College.

Amanda Shore hit a homer in the third, and Madison Hunter went yard in the fourth, but the Bears scored three in the bottom of the fourth to clinch a share of the UAA.

The Judges pounded out a season-high 17 hits in support of the rookie, who threw eight innings for the third-straight start.

Despite a 3-1 record from sophomore Michael Arguello at #2 singles and doubles, the Judges could not pull off an upset against the Panthers (2-7) or Ducks (3-5).

Coleman leads softball past Case, 5-2, extends #8 Emory to extras in 5-4 loss
Senior catcher Cori Coleman went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, a homer and two doubles, including the game-winner in the seventh inning, in the win over the Spartans. She also sparked the team's four-run rally against the Eagles.

Ryan Tettemer had three doubles, but the Judges couldn't get him home, as Kyle Brenner lost despite his 16th career complete game.

Anya Kamber belted her first home run of the season and the eighth of her career in the Judges' win, while rookie Amanda Shore had three hits and three runs scored in the contest.

Rookie Luke Zeccola hit his second home run in as many days, this time in a pinch-hitting role, while classmate Nick Falkson was 4-5 with two runs scored to improve his batting average to .429.

Junior Kelsey Whitaker will make her fourth appearance at an NCAA Championship - two in cross country and now two in the mile in indoor track and field.

Kyle Brenner became the seventh Judges with 15 career complete games and Ryan Pocock hit his second homer of the season, but the Judges' bats were quiet after the sixth inning.

ECAC Champions! Judges knock off Westfield State, 75-65 in overtime to claim program's third crown
Niki Laskaris had 18 points, including a game-tying 3-pointer with a minute left in regulation, and Hannah Cain scored six of her 13 points in OT to earn tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.

Frankie Pinto scored 19 of her 23 points in the first half and Syndey Sodine added 14 points and 11 rebounds as the Judges advanced to their first ECAC final in a decade.

Women lead wire-to-wire in ECAC Quarterfinal win over Roger Williams, 63-44
The sixth-seeded Judges went on a 21-3 run in the second half to blow open a close game. Frankie Pinto scored 10 of her game-high 15 points in the second stanza. Brandeis will host the semifinals and finals this weekend, taking on Emmanuel College Saturday at 1 pm in the semis.
