Brandeis in the news, July 22
Even over the summer, several current and former Brandeis
student-athletes have been making news. Here's a quick round-up:
- Tim Morehouse '00, soon to be the University's first Olympian,
has recently been featured in the The
Waltham Daily News Tribune, the
New York Daily News and the
Ventura (Calif.) County Star
- Eli Harrington '10 will also be in Beijing for the Olympics,
reports the Burlington
Free Press. Eli landed an internship with Voice of America and
is stationed in China for the summer. He will be chronicling his
exploits at insidethedragon.blogspot.com
- Jeff Dennis '11 sat out most of his rookie baseball season due
to injury, but Portsmouth
Herald reports that he is tearing up Legion ball in New
Hampshire
- Steve DeLuca '08 missed the historic 2007-08 basketball
campaign because of injury as well, but the Nashua
Telegraph reported on how Steve guided a squad of Judges to a
Summer League championship. He will be a grad student in '08-'09
thanks to a medical hardship
