2009: Academic All-UAA selection... Lefty appeared in nine games and kept opponents scoreless in six of them... Finished with a 6.35 earned run average in 11.1 innings... Struggled in season debut, allowing four walks and two runs in two innings of 7-4 loss to Washington & Lee University in Arizona, Feb. 20... Did record first career strikeout against the Generals in what proved to be career-long outing... Bounced back in next Arizona appearance, retiring all three hitters he faced in a 7-4 loss to Hastings College...Picked up another K in a scoreless UAA inning against Rochester, March 11... Went 1.1 innings in three-straight appearances in April and May against Clark, Trinity and Suffolk... 2008: Retired the only hitter he faced on a ground ball to second in a 20-6 win over UMass-Boston, Apr. 23...
