Meehan named to New England Basketball Hall of Fame
On Saturday, June 22, head coach Brian Meehan was part of the 2013 Class of the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. He joins Bob Brannum and Carol Simon as Brandeis coaches who have been honored.

The Judges erased a 10-point deficit, but couldn't hang on to the lead. They close the regular season at 17-8, 8-6 in the UAA and will be on the bubble for the NCAA tournament.

After missing his previous two games, Alex Stoyle missed just two shots against the Maroons, hitting 10-of-12 overall and 4-of-5 from deep to finish with 28 points, a career-high.

The Judges cut a 14-point deficit to one with six minutes left, but couldn't get over the hump. Alex Stoyle had another terrific second half with all of his 15 points and seven rebounds after getting two quick fouls in the first.

21 points each from Ben Bartoldus and Gabriel Moton were not enough to overcome 36 from UR's John DiBartolomeo, who scored 19 point from the free throw line, taking more foul shots than the entire Brandeis team.

After two straight games rallying from a halftime deficit on the road, the Judges couldn't pull a trifecta in Atlanta, suffering their first defeat of 2013. Gabriel Moton had 14 points to lead Brandeis.

The Brandeis men's basketball team is 19th in Division III in the latest edition of the rankings. The Judges are coming off a road sweep of Chicago and Washington University that is just the sixth in UAA history.

For just the second time ever, the Judges won in both Chicago and St. Louis in the same season. Derek Retos scored all of his game-high 23 points in the second half, while Gabriel Moton hit the game-winning trifecta with 1:19 left.
