Sean Tabb is now in his fifth season as men's basketball assistant at Brandeis. A 1999 graduate of the University of Hartford, Tabb has been coaching ever since. He was an assistant coach at Trinity (Conn.) from 1999 to 2008 before assuming the reins as interim coach for two seasons. Tabb then spent two years as an assistant at Brown University from 2010 to 2012 before joining the Judges' staff for the 2013-14 season.
One of twenty players in Connecticut history to score more than 2,000 points in his high school career, Tabb played four years of Division I ball at Hartford, serving as capain as a senior. He was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015. He owns a BA in education from Hartford and a Masters in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth.
