Cardillo places 19th at NCAA fencing championships
The sophomore foil won seven bouts at the Ohio State University, including wins over the fifth-ranked fencer from Notre Dame and the No. 7 finisher from Yale.

Cardillo, Zook finish 10th at NCAA Northeast regionals
Sophomore Julian Cardillo is in good shape for his second-straight berth at the NCAA championships, while junior Mike Zook came from the 33rd seed to finish in the top 10 in the Northeast at the championship meet held at Boston College.

Men's fencing finishes second at Beanpot, women place fourth
Rookie saber Jess Ochs-Willard was one of four Brandeis fencers to post six wins at the 2012 Beanpot tournament, where the Judges avenged a loss to BC, 15-12, and defeated MIT, 17-10, while falling to No. 3 Harvard, 22-5. The women went 0-3 at the tournament.

Men's fencing goes 2-3 at Duke Invite
The Judges defeated Johns Hopkins, 17-10, for the second week in a row and avenged an earlier loss to North Carolina with a 14-13 result that saw all three weapons decided by one point.

Men's fencing tops NYU, goes 4-1 at Eric Sollee Invitational
The Judges defeated their UAA rivals from the Big Apple, 17-10, and took a dramatic 14-13 win over Johns Hopkins thanks to a 5-0 win from senior epee fencer Alex Powell.

Six standout athletes whose careers spanned the first half-century of Brandeis’ sports history will be inducted into the 14th class of the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on campus, Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa ’90 and Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) President Jim Leahy '85 announced.
