The Judges answered nine minutes and two seconds later as senior back Scott Zackaroff (Bath, Ohio) punched home a rebound after Premo's initial shot hit the crossbar. NYU had the better of the play after the Judges tied it up, outshooting Brandeis by a 20-6 margin, but rookie goalkeeper Taylor Bracken (No. Andover, Mass.) stopped seven shots on goal, including the Violets' first attempt of overtime. The Brandeis defense also cleared three different balls off the line throughout the game.
