Bradley named second-team All-UAA for men's soccer
Senior midfielder and co-captain Corey Bradley earned second-team All-UAA honors in 2009, a year after being selected as an honorable mention. Sophomore defenders David McCoy and Ari Silver were also honorable mention choices by the UAA coaches.

Late rally falls short for men's soccer against NYU, 3-2
Senior Corey Bradley scored in the 88th minute and had a nice attempt go wide in the final 30 seconds today as the Brandeis men fell just short in their season finale, 3-2, against NYU. Rookie Sam Ocel scored the Judges' first goal.

Lynch named UAA Defensive Player of the Week
Brandeis junior goalkeeper Matt Lynch made 16 saves in two games last week, earning his third shutout of the campaign and University Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week honors in the process.

Lynch's 11 saves preserve scoreless draw with Chicago
Junior goalkeeper Matt Lynch made a career-high 11 saves today as the Brandeis men's soccer team earned a 0-0 tie with the University of Chicago in a UAA contest. The Judges earned the draw despite playing a man down for the final 15 minutes of the game.

Early PK stands up as WashU men take UAA decision from Brandeis, 1-0
Despite a 14-12 edge in shots, the Brandeis men's soccer team was unable to convert on visiting Washington University as the Judges fell, 1-0, in a University Athletic Association contest. Senior Mike Silberstein led the Judges with three shots on the night.

Men's soccer shuts out Lasell, 2-0
Junior midfielder Kyle Gross scored a goal for the second straight game, tallying the game-winner in the 26th minute as the Judges blanked visiting Lasell in the mist on Gordon Field. It was the second shutout of the season for Brandeis, who did not allow a shot on goal.

Teece nets game-winner as Judges snap losing streak with 3-1 win at Springfield
Sophomore Luke Teece netted the game-winning goal in the 59th minute tonight as the Brandeis men's soccer team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory at Springfield College. Alex Farr and Kyle Gross also found the back of the net.

Men's soccer drops 3-0 UAA decision at Emory
The Brandeis men's soccer team dropped its third-straight University Athletic Association contest and fourth in a row overall today as the Judges fell to Emory University, 3-0, in Atlanta. The win was the Eagles' first in conference action.

Men's soccer loses second match to ranked UAA foe, 1-0, at CMU
Junior netminder Matt Lynch tied a career-high with eight saves and the Brandeis defense kept the UAA's leading scorer off the board, but host Carnegie Mellon made a ninth-minute goal stand up as the No. 9 Tartans blanked the Judges, 1-0.

Sophomore forward Alexander Farr scored for the third game in a row, and the Judges got an own-goal early in the second half, but it wasn't enough to counter a hat-trick from the hosts' star rookie as the Brandeis men's soccer team dropped a 3-2 non-conference decision at Babson today.

Sophomore Alexander Farr scored the game's first goal, his team-leading fifth of the season, but the Judges couldn't keep 11th-ranked Rochester at bay. The Yellowjackets scored two second-half goals to earn a 2-1 UAA victory.

Bradley blast leads Judges past Case, 1-0, in UAA opener
Senior Corey Bradley netted his first goal of the season and the sixth of his career today to lead the Judges to a 1-0 victory over host Case Western Reserve in the UAA opener for both teams. The victory was the second in a row for Brandeis and marked their first shutout of 2009.

Peabody's five points lead Brandeis men past Newbury, 6-1
The Brandeis men's soccer team outshot visiting Newbury College, 36-1, this afternoon en route to a 6-1 victory over the Nighthawks. Rookie forward Matt Peabody led the Judges with two goal and an assist for a five-point performance.

The Brandeis men's soccer team drew its best crowd of the season under the lights on Gordon Field, but unfortunately, they were unable to upset the No. 4 team in New England, Wheaton College, falling by a 3-0 score. The Judges lost despite a season-high six saves by junior Matt Lynch.

Thanks to a pair of nice set pieces, the Brandeis men's soccer team earned a 2-1 victory over MIT Wednesday night. Rookie Matt Peabody got the Judges on the board in the first half, while sophomore Alexander Farr tallied the game-winner in the 68th minute. Junior goalkeeper Matt Lynch made five saves.

The Judges scored early on an own-goal, and sophomore Luke Teece had a couple of strong chances, but the Judges couldn't snap the tie.
