Men's tennis finishes seventh at UAAs
After falling to WashU, 9-0, and NYU, 6-3, the men's tennis team finished the season on a positive note with a 6-3 win over Rochester to place seventh in the UAA.

Steven Milo, David Yovanoff, Josh Jordan and Jon Ostrowsky all contributed points as the Judges defeated the Cougars in their next-to-last match before UAAs.

The Judges won at No. 1 doubles, where seniors Steven Milo and David Yovanoff were 8-6 winners. Milo dropped a third-set super tiebreaker at No. 1 singles.

UPDATE, 4/20: Brandeis Athletics Spring 2013 Schedule Changes
Today, April 20, Baseball and Softball will be played as scheduled, with the minor change of game times which have been pushed back an hour to 1 p.m. to allow the grounds crew time to prepare the fields.

The Judges played under Division I rules against the Bulldogs, so at win at No. 3 doubles was discounted, but senior Steven Milo won two narrow sets at the top of the lineup.

Behind multiple winners David Yovanoff and Mitch Krems, the men's tennis team knocked off cross-town rival Bentley. With the win, the Judges' record improved to 6-6.

Men's tennis comes indoors to rally past Babson, 6-3
Trailing 2-1 after doubles and with the six singles matches evenly split, rain forced the Judges and Beavers indoors, where Brandeis prevailed in 5 of 6 singles matches. Mitch Krems and Michael Secular were double winners.

The Judges nearly rallied from a 4-3 deficit, but the Jumbos prevailed in the final match at No. 5 singles. Senior Steven Milo was Brandeis's only double-winner on the afternoon, finishing the weekend at 3-1 overall.

The Judges picked up a couple of wins at the top and bottom of the singles lineup, but two tough tiebreaker losses in doubles action helped the visiting Bobcats to victory.

Number one doubles tandem of Steven Milo and Josh Jordan won a tight match, but the host Panthers took the other eight matches. The Judges drop to 3-4 on the season with all four losses coming to ranked teams.

With the match tied at 3-3, the lower three spots in the lineup each won three-set matches to give the Judges the win over the Brewers. Sophomore Alec Siegel rallied from a set down to clinch the win at No. 6.

Men's tennis drops two to nationally-ranked squads to close California trip
The Judges were blanked by fifth-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 9-0, and fell to Redlands, 8-1. Rookie Mitch Krems earned the win for the Judges at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-2, to finish 4-1on the trip.

The men edged the Panthers, 5-4, while the #22 women routed the 23rd-ranked hosts, 7-2. Steven Milo was a double winner for the men in the top spots, while Carley Cooke did the same for the women.

The Judges overcame a 4-2 deficit by winning at first, second and sixth singles to defeat the Tigers in the dual-match opener for both squads. Senior Josh Jordan clinched the comeback at No. 2.

Milo reaches quarterfinals of singles, doubles bracket at ITA regionals
A pair of Brandeis doubles teams advanced past the first round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association New England regional today at Williams, each winning in a tiebreaker. Senior Steven Milo also moved on in the singles bracket, advancing all the way to the quarterfinals.
