Mark Reytblat brought his coaching talents to Brandeis 25 years ago. He specializes in coaching the sprints, horizontal jumps and hurdles. He coached jumper Eleena Zhelezov to nine NCAA Division III titles - eight in the triple jump and one in the long jump. He has coached over 50 All-Americans at Brandeis. Since coming to Brandeis, Reytblat has been a 16-time member of the UAA Coaching staff of the year. He has coached Brandeis women's teams to top-six finishes at the NCAAs six times, including two third places and a fourth place. Reytblat has coached fifteen UAA championship teams. He has also led teams to New England Division III and ECAC Division III titles. A native of Ukraine and graduate of the University of Leningrad, Reytblat moved to the United States in 1979. Before coming to Brandeis Reytblat served as assistant coach at Boston University, where he coached several national class athletes. Reytblat is a licensed massage therapist and was a top-ranked sprinter in Ukraine.
