DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Sophomore Paul Norton (Amherst, Mass.) had a fine performance at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational today, placing third overall, as the 30th-ranked Judges came in seventh place out of 38 teams.
Norton covered the five-mile course in 25:08, just four seconds out of first place. Rookie Chris Brown (No. Chelmsford, Mass.) and senior Mike Stone (E. Falmouth, Mass.) were the next two Brandeis finishers in 31st and 35th place, just three seconds apart in 25:46 and 25:49. Sophomore Zach Schwartz (Newtown, Conn.) was the fourth Judge to cross the line in 50th place with a time of 26:14, and rookie Ryan Cheng (New Milford, Conn.) was the final scorer in 67th place with a time of 26:34.
