On Sunday, March 24, the Brandeis softball team welcomed its newest member, Christina Dangond, into the locker room. The Judges issued a locker and uniform number 1 to Christina, age 7, of Weston, through the efforts of Team IMPACT (http://www.goteamimpact.org/).
The Judges fell to the Blue, 2-0 and 10-2, in their local debut. Amanda Genovese extended her hitting streak to 23 games dating back to last season (15 straight in 2013), while Cori Coleman went 3-3 in game two.

The Judges surrendered seven runs in the seventh to fall to the No. 24 Bears, 11-7, but scored the game's only run in the last frame against the Yellowjackets as Casey Ducinski tossed a 1-0 one-hitter.
