Nolan, who plays first base and pitches, hit safely in all six games for the Judges with 10 hits in 20 at-bats for a .500 batting average. She had one double and one home runs for a .700 slugging percentage and led the Judges with four RBI. On April 9, she drove in the game-tying run in a 2-1 win to earn a split with Wheaton (Mass.) College, then plated an insurance run in a 4-2 win at Endicott in Game Two of a twinbill at Endicott College on April 11. On April 13, Nolan went 4-7 with two RBI, a run scored and the game-winning two-run home run in the third inning of game 1 in a sweep of WPI.
Nolan had a claim for UAA Pitcher of the Week honors last week, as she went 3-0 with three complete games and just three earned runs in 20 innings pitched for a 0.70 ERA. Nolan had as many strikeouts, 14, as she did hits allowed, giving her a .189 opponents batting average. She tossed two four-hitters in wins over Wheaton and WPI, and matched her season-high with six strikeouts in wins over Endicott and WPI.
Overall this season, Nolan is hitting .311 (28-90) with 14 RBI and 15 runs scored. She leads the Judges with four home runs and is third with a .456 slugging percentage. Nolan is tied for the team lead in wins with a 7-2 record with complete games in eight of her nine starts. Her .227 opponent's batting average is third-lowest in the UAA.
Overall this season, the Judges own a 19-10 record. They finished tied for third with a 3-5 mark at the 2013 UAA tournament, held March 12-16 in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
