Because of inclement weather, the Brandeis baseball and softball games, scheduled for Friday, March 12 as part of the University Athletic Association tournament, have been postponed until Saturday. Check back for more details.

The Brandeis baseball team earned its first UAA of the season, slugging their way past Washington University, 13-11, but the Judges' momentum was halted by Case Western Reserve, 12-5. Three different players went 4-9 on the day, with rookie Chris Ferro driving in five, including his first home run, and junior Tony Deshler crossing the plate five times with a double and a triple.

Senior DH Drake Livada had a first-inning RBI, but the Brandeis bats could not muster any other offense the rest of the way as the Judges fell to Emory, 7-1, in the 2010 UAA Tournament opener. Senior Drew Brzozowski went six innings but suffered the loss.
