Sophomore Paul Norton, who earned his second berth at an NCAA championship, finished in 12th place in the 10,000-meter run at Marietta College. He finished four places out of All-America status.

For the first time since 2005, the Brandeis track and field team will send competitors to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. Sophomore Paul Norton will represent the men in the 10,000-meter run, while junior Beth Pisarik will run the 1,500-meters for the women.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Brandeis University men’s track and field team competed at the 2009 University Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend held at Carnegie Mellon. The Judges had six All-UAA performances at the event as they finished in seventh place with 35 points.
