Kendrew, Cincotta earn All-UAA honors for Women's Basketball
Senior guard Morgan Kendrew earned a second-team All-UAA selection and a spot at the NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic while graduate student Diana Cincotta earned an All-UAA honorable mention

Kendrew, seniors go out on high note as women's hoops defeats NYU, 62-55
Morgan Kendrew climbed into Brandeis's top-10 in scoring with 21 points, giving her 973 for her career, as the Judges defeated their rivals from the Big Apple. Junior Erika Higginbottom had a career-high 18 as well.

Senior Shannon Hassan had 12 points off the bench, while classmate Kelly Ethier added four assists, but the Maroons shot 58 percent overall and 65 percent from 3-point range to take the win.

The Judges outrebounded the Eagles, 55-34, including a career-high 11 from junior Erika Higginbottom, but it wasn't enough to overcome their second-straight game shooting under 30 percent

No Brandeis player scored in double figures tonight as the Judges hit just 22 percent from the floor. Sophomore Nicolina Vitale scored seven points off the bench, as did senior Kelly Ethier, while Morgan Kendrew was held to single digits for just the second time in UAA play with eight.

Morgan Kendrew had 18 points for the Judges, but CMU junior Emily Peel had a career-best 33 points as the host Tartans won for the first time in a decade over the Judges.

Despite a second-straight 20-point performance from Morgan Kendrew and the first career double-double from classmate Shannon Hassan (10 p, 10 r), the host Spartans ended the game on a 21-5 run to take the UAA win.

The Brandeis women snapped a six-game skid thanks to senior Morgan Kendrew, who had a season-high 22 points, and grad student Diana Cincotta, who hit her 100th career 3-pointer.

Despite senior guard Morgan Kendrew leading three Judges in double figures with 13 points, Brandeis could not overcome the duo of junior guard Evy Iacono and senior forward Erin Hollinger as they dropped their 6th consecutive UAA contest.

Despite 18 points from Morgan Kendrew and a 45-41 edge on the glass against the top rebounding team in Division III, the Judges couldn't hang in against a late onslaught from the fifth-rated Yellowjackets.

Rookie guard Hannah Cain finished just three assists shy of a triple double today and the Judges outrebounded the Eagles, 57-25, to close out non-conference play with a 7-4 record.

Rookie Hannah Cain scored a career-high 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Judges ended the game on a 25-9 run. Brandeis blocked 11 shots in the contest, their most since at least 2004.

The Judges outscored the Lions, 33-17, in the second half thanks to a fine performance from junior Courtney Ness, who had eight points and five boards after the break to finish with 10 and 7, respectively.

Announcing the 2012 Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame Class
Six standout athletes whose careers spanned the first half-century of Brandeis’ sports history will be inducted into the 14th class of the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on campus, Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa ’90 and Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) President Jim Leahy '85 announced.
