The Brandeis women went 3-3 at the second Northeast Fencing Conference meet of 2012, finishing the season with a 7-5 record in the conference. Sophomore epeeist Leah Mack had the best day of any Brandeis fencer with 12 wins.
In their only mid-week match of the season, the Brandeis women's fencing team defeated local rival Wellesley, 14-13. The Judges won epee, 8-1, and saber, 6-3, with junior saberist Zoe Messinger earning the clinching point.
Six standout athletes whose careers spanned the first half-century of Brandeis’ sports history will be inducted into the 14th class of the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on campus, Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa ’90 and Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) President Jim Leahy '85 announced.
