On May 6, the Brandeis Department of Athletics held its annual Student-Athlete Recognition and Award Dinner. Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa and Dean of Students Rick Sawyer were on hand to give out awards to 10 different student-athletes. Read about the winners here!

Sophomore Marc Eder was among four Brandeis swimmers to qualify for nationals at the 2010 ECAC Open Championships. Aaron Bennett also qualified for the men, while Hollis Viray and Angela Chiu qualified as well. The Brandeis men scored 43 points against Division I, II and III competition, while the women scored 30.

Rookie Dan Danon and sophomore Marc Eder had the performances of the meet for the Brandeis men's swimming and diving teams, both reaching NCAA 'B' qualifying cuts as the Judges placed eighth. Danon placed fifth overall in the 100 butterfly, while Eder was also fifth in the 200 yard breaststroke.
