Denise Dallamora

Denise Dallamora is the only coach in Brandeis women’s soccer history. She began the soccer team in 1980 and Brandeis has developed into one of the most highly regarded Division III programs in the country.

Dallamora has led the Judges to the postseason seven consecutive campaigns, reaching the ECAC tournament semifinals each time, including back-to-back ECAC titles in 2007 and 2008 and a finals berth in 2009. In 1988, Brandeis qualified for the NCAA Division III tournament. That year, Dallamora received several coaching honors. She was honored as the University Athletic Association Coaching Staff of the Year, the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association Coach of the Year and the New England Women’s Eight Coach of the Year. In 1991, she was honored by NEWISA with its service award. She has coached four All-American players - including Melissa Gorenkoff '10 in 2009 - and four of her former standouts were inducted into the Joseph Linsey Brandeis University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dallamora was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 1995. She was presented a letter of commendation proclaiming a career of exceptional service to the sport of soccer.
