WALTHAM, Mass. - The Brandeis women's swimming and diving team dropped a 136-96 decision at cross-town rival Bentley University despite two wins each from senior Hollis Viray (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) and sophomore Angela Chui (Princeton, N.J./Peddie School). Chui also suffered her first collegiate dual meet loss in an individual event, taking second in the 1,000 yard freestyle - not one of her typical events - by 30 seconds, snapping a 33-race winning streak.
Chui went on to win two more races, taking the 200 individual medley in 2:18.77 and the 200 back stroke in 2:18.45. Viray was victorious in the 200 freestyle (2:02.18) and the 200 breaststroke (2:32.19) while also earning runner-up honors in the 500 free (5:28.00).
The Judges' only other winner on the evening was junior Dana Simms (Rockville, Md./Walter Johnson), who took the 3-meter diving event with a score of 220.55.
