As a defender, he helped the Judges finish second in the UAA and 24th in all of Division III with a 0.70 goals-against average during the regular season. For his career, Hennessy posted six goals and 10 assists for 22 points in 63 career games for the Judges.
Brandeis finished the 2019 season with a 10-5-4 record under third-year head coach Gabe Margolis. The Judges return 12 players who started at least one game last season, including seven who started 10 or more.
